“Western Melbourne is crying out for elite sporting facilities as they have missed out for far too long. We hope to rectify this with a sports precinct that has a football focus which will benefit the entire Western region.”
“We hope to provide an elite environment for both males and females to become the stars of tomorrow. Our aim is to create a World Class Academy that will rival other facilities located around the world.”
“I recall as a young kid having to travel all the way to the other side of Melbourne to follow my dream of playing representative football for Victoria, since many of the facilities were based on the east side of Melbourne. We hope that the players of Western Melbourne and Western Victoria will now have their own elite facility to follow their own dreams – and it will be much closer to home.”
